Who Are You?? ++ Who I Am!
Hello everyone how have we been?? I thought I would start using my blog a lot more than I have been and I feel terrible because I love all of my supporters and I feel like some of my readers don't always watch my videos or want to watch them which is totally awesome! So I think I want to do some positivity posts and journal on here everyday for you guys! It will be something of the sort but to start this off I wanted to let you know that my new video is up and you can watch it HERE! But also I wanted to have more big discussions on my blog so with that being said lets chat it up all week long!!
My question for you guys is who are you? Now I would really love it if you guys would answer down below but if not that is totally okay! I guess I will start first haha. :)
Who I am...
I am a 19 year old girl who thought she knew what she was going to do with her life and is now realizing that she wants to go another direction but she is also crazy and confused. She is someone who just wants to take life one step at a time and just stop planning everything. She isn't quite there yet but that is her goal!
Now please please please let me know in the comments I would love for everyone to just start a huge conversation about this topic below.
Thank you guys so much for reading and I will talk to you guys in the comments.

Updated Foundation Routine!! (Drugstore)
Hey guys so before I get started I just wanted to say HELLO again haha...I know it has been awhile actually almost a year before I have posted on here but I plan on posting more frequently about life, beauty and what not. So anyways without further adue here is my updated drugstore foundation routine!!
So first thing I like to do is apply my moisturizer and I am in love with this product it is the Garnier Nutrisse Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel Cream for Normal/Combo skin. This retails for 5.99 and you can get it HERE. I apply this all over my face and then I let that sit and absorb into my skin which literally takes seconds and I just bought my second jar!
Next I apply my concealer which is the Revlon Colorstay Concealer. This product retails for 9.59 and you can pick it up HERE. I use it in the sahde 02 Light. This is the first time I have ever used this product and so far I am enjoying it, but I can't tell you all of my thoughts on it just yet. Be on the lookout for the review. But I apply this to any redness I might have on my face which is currently my T-zone. I blend that all in with a beauty blender ( which mine is a knockoff but I love it)
Now time for my foundation I am currently using Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 and I am in the shade Classic Ivory. This retails for 9.99 and you can purchase it HERE. This is my second bottle of this foundation but I kind of took a break from it and I definitely missed it! This has medium to full coverage and I will be doing a more indepth review of this product in a seperate blogpost probably coming out sometime this week. But anyways I will apply this anywhere that I feel needs more coverage and my cheeks because I don't have any redness on my cheeks and I will either blend that out with my beauty blender or I will blend it out with a Sonia Kashuk Buffing Brush (but that hasn't been my go to lately.)
Then I go under my eyes with that same concealer again and I tap it out with my finger and then my beauty blender!
Now to set everything so it last all day!! I use the Loreal Paris True Match Naturale Mattifying Mineral Finish Powder. I am not over the moon about this product but it's getting the job done. Literally I went through my makeup collection and I found this and thought I would use it up. I like it and I don't if you would like an indepth review just let me know in the comments!! This product retails for 10.00 and you can purchase it HERE. I just tap that into my face with a large powder brush and I mostly put it on my T-zone and under my eyes.
That is pretty much it for my foundation routine, drugstore edition! I am currently listening to blank space by TSwift which is suprisngly good haha!! Anyways if you have any questions about anything here let me know in the comments! Love ya and I hope you have a great weekend loves!! <3 Emily

Foundation Routine!
Hey guys! So just recently I did a Foundation Routine on my YouTube channel and I will have that linked HERE! So if you are interested in watching please check it out and SUBSCRIBE and COMMENT! Thanks so much. You guys truly mean a lot to me! Anyways without further a due here are the products that were mentioned in my video!
The first product I use to prep my face is my Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture for Combination Skin Moisturizer.
I really do like this moisturizer, it is very light weight. But I don't like it as much compared to my Aveeno Moisturizer. This retails for around $9.99 and can be found at any drugstore, I ended up picking mine up at Target. I really do like it and it gets the job done, however I prefer the Aveeno one over this just because it really helped the tone of my skin! Overall this moisturizer is a very good one and worth the money.
Then to prime my face I use my Loreal Magic Perfecting Base
I really like this and I feel like it is a dupe for Benefits "The Porefessional" although this texture is a little bit thicker I still like it and once you have applied it to your skin you can't even tell it is on your skin. I use this to hide my pores on my cheeks and a little spot on my nose! It works perfect for that. This retails for $10.49 and again can be found at any local drugstore and as always I picked mine up at Target.
To hide any imperfections or redness on my face I use the Garnier Skin Renew Anti-Dark Circle Roller.
Yes, I use this under my eyes as well as over my face as you saw in the video. This is very light weight and I sometimes use this like a tinted moisturizer. I really like this product a lot and I really recommend it for anyone that has light skin because unfortunately they don't make this in a darker shade! This product retails for $10.99 and again can be found at any drugstore.
Now for foundation I use Bare Minerals Original Foundation in Fairly Light
I love this foundation it just gives your skin such a flawless finish and especially if you used a primer. It is so smooth to apply and you don't need that much! This retails for $24.00 and you can purchase it at Sephora, Ulta or on Bare Minerals website. I really like it a lot and to me it is worth the money.
As for tools these are the two brushes I used:
The orange brush is by Bare Minerals and is called the Heavenly Face Brush and it retails for $30.00 now mine is limited edition but they still make it in black. The black one on the bottom is by ELF and it retails for $3.00 and you can get it at Target.

How to find out if a product or foundation is silicone based!
How to find out if your foundation is silicone based or not?
Look on your ingredients list, if
you didn’t know the ingredients are listed from most quantity to least
quantity. So for example if you were to see ‘Water’ or ‘Aqua’ listed first that
means that there is more water in it. But that doesn’t necessarily make it a
water based foundation. Because if the 2nd word is something like silica,
dimethicone, cyclopentasiloxane, actually all you have to do is look at the end
of the word, if it ends in –cone, -siloxane, -silicate or –silicone ß that is your silicone
ingredient, it is most likely a silicone based product. Now if you get to the
middle of the ingredient list or below the middle and you haven’t reached a
silicone ingredient then it will most likely be a water based foundation.
Why is silicone used?
Silicone
– lets your skin breathe, it also fills in any pores or fine lines you have. It’s
also a lot smoother and will most likely give you an “airbrushed” or “flawless”
look.
Will I break out because of silicone?
Well,
that I am not sure of. Because everyone’s skin is different. Some are
sensitive, some are oily and or combination, etc. But I do know since it does
fill in your pores you could experience severe to minimal breakouts. For me I
have been using a silicone primer and I have dry/combo skin and I haven’t had a
break out. I think that you would be more likely to break out from a product you’re
using because of the talc and possibly the fragrance in cosmetics.
What brands use silicone?
Well as
I have found the majority of foundations use silicone. From high end to
drugstore there is some form of silicone in almost all of them. I do have a
list made up and I will be posting that as well.
But I hope this helped you for the most part. If you want to
know more about this just let me know in the comments on my blog or even on
twitter, instagram or my channel.
As always thank you for reading!!
Emily xoxo
